May 1, 2019: 1700-2045 hrs Member / Guest dinner at Aqua Vino Restaurant.

May 27, 2019: Memorial Day celebrations.

June 5, 2019: 1700-2045 hrs Member / Guest dinner at Ancora!.

June 14, 2019: 0900 hrs Flag Day ceremony at Peter Gansevoort Elementary School, Rome, NY.

June 19, 2019: 1730 - 2000 hrs Burger Burn, Hampton Inn - Floyd Ave, Rome, NY. Meet and Greet with the Advanced Course in Engineering (ACE) students.  Each year the Cadet Leaders from the JROTC and NDCC units are invited to attend.

July 4, 2019: We encourage all to support their local community celebration of our republic's independence.

July 18, 2019 (Thursday): 1700-2000 hrs Member / Guest dinner at Lake Delta Yacht Club.

August TBD, 2019: 1300 hrs Annual GRUC Picnic, Tille Estate, Old Forge, NY.

September 4, 2019: 1700-2045 hrs Member / Guest dinner at Aquino’s Restaurant.

October 2, 2019: 1700-2045 hrs Member / Guest dinner at Casa-Too-Mucha.

November 6, 2019: 1700-2045 hrs Member / Guest dinner at Ancora!.

November 11, 2019: Veteran's Day celebrations.

December 7, 2019: 1300-1700 hrs Annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Dinner at DiCastros Too.

December 14, 2019: 1200 hrs Wreaths Across America. In 2018, events were held at  these six cemeteries: Rome Cemetery, St. Peter's Cemetery, St. Mary's Cemetery, St. John's Cemetery, Evergreen Cemetery, and Westernville Cemetery. Through the generous donations of local business and community members, our team of volunteers were able to place over 1200 memorial wreaths at veteran graves.

Member / Guest Dinner Details:
We follow this agenda for our monthly member / guest dinners:

• 1700 - 1800 hrs: social hour, cash bar
• 1800 - 1815 hrs: dinner seating
• 1815 - 1830 hrs: Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, placing of dinner orders (usually order off the menu)
• 1830 - 1900 hrs: GRUC activities update, presentations etc
• 1930 - 2030 hrs: dinner service
• 2030 - 2045 hrs: adjournment

The details for these events is usually published in our semi annual newsletters. Once details are confirmed the newsletters are published to our members via email and to this website.  Note: GRUC publications are distributed in PDF format. Board of Directors Meetings:
GRUC Officers and Directors are encouraged to attend the monthly planning meetings which are held at 0900 hrs the 2nd Friday of the month at the Spresso’s Cafe at the Oneida Financial Center on Griffiss Park. Meetings are confirmed in advance by the President. Members are invited to attend these meetings as well.

2019 Board Meeting proposed dates are:

• March 22 (note date change), April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8, and December 6 (final prep for Annual Meeting).
